Town and Country Property Auctions are a major provider of online property auction services UK wide. We are seeking an experienced and proven property professional for the role of Business Development Manager for our Bristol office. The role maintains three primary remits:

  • To identify and add new clients to our extensive network of existing Partners.
  • To identify, promote and extract potential auction lots from our Partners.
  • To ensure existing clients are nurtured and managed effectively whilst opportunities to increase revenue for both ourselves and our Partners are maximised.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, building, and maintaining relationships whilst also having a portfolio of property industry successes during their career, which can be illustrated. Harbouring a 'can-do' attitude is key for success, as a proportion of the role is self-generated. The role will require regular reporting to TCPA South Principals, weekly updates to TCPA management team and monthly meetings with main stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the sales industry is essential - to a minimum of three years.
  • Experience within property & auctions would be desirable, although not essential.
  • Proven track record in generating new business / revenue.
  • B2B sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Must be highly organised, motivated and looking to join an innovative, forward-thinking company.
  • Ability to cold call - from both a face-to-face and telephone approach.
  • Ability to maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the company’s services.
  • Effective communicator - must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prompt and accurate reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis and also as required.
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint and general IT systems skills.
  • Ability to present to groups in both physical and virtual environments.
  • UK Based with Full UK Drivers License and ability to provide references upon request.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £95,000.00-£100,000.00 per year

Additional pay: Commission pay, Performance bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekend availability

Experience: Business development: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)
