This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic, and professional individual to join a strong auction company. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Property Valuer for the Southampton area. This is an out and about business development role where your primary responsibilities will be to gain instructions from estate agents, conduct photoshoots of new properties coming on the market, pitch for business, help grow the portfolio, and conduct viewings. You will need to be able to live within this area and demonstrate at least three years of proven success within this market.

In return, you will be provided with a basic salary of £25,000 and 10% commission on all instructions that you take on. Annual earnings should be in the region of £40,000 - £50,000.

As a Property Valuer, you will be a key player in conducting successful auctions and maximizing sales for our organization. With core skills in auctioneering techniques, negotiation, and market trends, you will lead auctions, engage bidders, and drive competitive bidding processes. Your premium skills in communication, persuasion, and customer service will be essential in building rapport with clients and achieving optimal results. Leveraging your relevant skills in marketing, salesmanship, and product knowledge, you will contribute to the growth and success of our auction events.

The role of the Property Valuer can include but is not limited to:

  • Identifying and canvassing sources of new auction listings.
  • Identifying and progressing both new and internal leads.
  • Listing and selling houses through auctions.
  • Providing in-depth product/service knowledge.
  • Staying connected with existing clients, both in person and by telephone.
  • Managing and leading the sales progression process.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate and/or auction processes and procedures.
  • Ability to engage and interact with bidders effectively.
  • Understanding of legal regulations and requirements in real estate and/or auctioneering.
  • Experience in conducting auctions and managing bidding processes.
  • Certification or training in real estate and/or auctioneering practices.
