We are looking for an individual with; A proven ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team; Commitment to a service, which provides support to vulnerable individuals, and which is respectful and according to the individual's wishes; Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Including an ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, Managers and other persons with a legitimate interest in the service; Ability to work within a regional maintenance team and support other homes within the region if required. The ability to carry out tasks correctly and safety; An understanding of when to request additional skilled help; A flexible and innovative approach to working; The ability to manage their time effectively, prioritising the work needed. A positive, patient and flexible attitude along with a passion for engaging with working age or older adults with dementia and associated conditions. Experience of working in a care home environment is
