TowerBrook is looking for an intern to join the Investor Relations team in London. This is a six-month placement designed for someone at the start of their career who wants to understand how a transatlantic private equity firm raises capital, reports to its investors and measures performance. You will work day to day with a small, close-knit and dynamic team while gaining exposure to every TowerBrook team, including senior management. No prior private equity experience is required.
You will contribute to the following workstreams:
- Preparation of investor presentation materials (including case studies, marketing decks and brochures)
- Preparation of annual meeting materials
- Preparation of quarterly reporting
- Tracking and reporting of investor base using our CRM system
- Assisting with fundraising RFIs, DDQs and other ad-hoc investor requests
- Assisting with portfolio analysis and performance benchmarking.
The intern will be considered a full member of the TowerBrook team from the outset, with genuine ownership of their workstreams rather than observational tasks. We are looking for a self-starter with high attention to detail who is responsive to the requirements of senior-level professionals working to tight timescales on both sides of the Atlantic, and who is curious enough to ask questions and learn quickly.
You will finish the placement with a working knowledge of fundraising, investor reporting and portfolio performance, a network across the firm's investment and functional teams, and direct mentorship from an experienced Investor Relations team.
