We’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our office-based Operations team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Poole.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the inventory levels held by Tower Supplies.
  • Deliver stock availability and order fulfilment at the highest possible service levels.
  • Meet and exceed relevant KPIs (e.g., OTIF, SLOB, MoH).
  • Manage working capital through optimisation of stock levels and minimisation of excess stock without compromising service.
  • Set stocking strategy reflecting usage, MOQs, EOQs, price breaks, and Customer Contracted Stock.
  • Implement stocking and ordering decisions from S&OP meetings.
  • Develop reports, strategies and processes to deliver year-on-year improvements and savings.
  • Maintain relationships with current suppliers; organise and attend internal and external meetings.
  • Act as a point of escalation for solving supplier issues; supplier scoring and development.
  • Provide cost and usage analysis to support strategic decision making.
  • Collaborate with supply partners, customers and wider business to strengthen offerings using available usage information and intelligence.
  • Partner with divisions, understanding their needs and strategies; report progress to all levels of the business.
  • Ensure supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Track performance with metrics and KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
  • Complete essential tasks daily, weekly and monthly; carry out any other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Technically proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfilment technologies.
  • Meticulous approach to stock accuracy and availability.
  • Excellent communication skills with a team-based and self-starting approach to workload management.
  • Experience in FMCG, wholesale distribution or related industries preferred.
