We're looking for a practical, solutions-focused engineer to join our CBN+ team, supporting the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial laundry and warewash chemical dosing equipment on cruise ships around the world. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in varied environments and delivering excellent service to customers.

Location: Flexible base, with extensive UK and international travel.

Travel: Around 75% of the role is based onboard cruise ships, with trips typically lasting 2-4 weeks and time back in lieu.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing chemical dosing equipment for commercial laundry and warewash applications.
  • Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and safety checks on installed machinery.
  • Working with electrical and plumbing systems in a cruise ship environment.
  • Supporting onboard installation projects alongside project managers, engineers and contractors.
  • Preparing equipment, accessories and consumables for installation and maintenance work.
  • Completing service reports and technical documentation accurately and on time.
  • Providing technical support and training to customers and end users where needed.
  • Building strong customer relationships through professional, high-quality service.

What We're Looking For:

  • City & Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installation qualification, or equivalent relevant electrical background.
  • Proven experience in a field-based or hands-on engineering role.
  • Experience working with 3-phase equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home for extended periods.
  • Experience in commercial laundry, warewash systems, dosing systems or plumbing would be an advantage.
