I’m working with a high-growth MGA that is continuing to expand its operational capability and is now looking to hire an experienced Operations Assistant. This is a broad, hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being close to the commercial heartbeat of a business. The organisation is on a genuine upward trajectory, and this hire will play a key part in supporting that growth. Uniquely, the business is also offering equity participation, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to share directly in the company’s long-term success.
The Opportunity
The Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the business across multiple operational areas. Responsibilities will vary but are likely to include:
- Supporting insurance operations across underwriting, bordereaux, compliance and reporting
- Assisting with delegated underwriting and Binding Authority processes
- Working closely with finance on insurance-related financial and operational activity
- Coordinating data, MI and documentation to support senior management and partners
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, including brokers and capacity providers
- Contributing to process improvement as the business continues to scale
This is a role where no two days are the same, offering exposure well beyond a traditional assistant position.
About You
This role would particularly suit someone with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Insurance operations within an MGA, insurer or Lloyd’s environment
- A finance-focused role within an insurance business
- Delegated underwriting or Binding Authority support
You’ll be proactive, organised, comfortable working across multiple workstreams, and keen to be part of a growing business where your contribution is visible and valued.
