Now Hiring: Operations Assistant | Growing MGA

I’m working with a high-growth MGA that is continuing to expand its operational capability and is now looking to hire an experienced Operations Assistant. This is a broad, hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being close to the commercial heartbeat of a business. The organisation is on a genuine upward trajectory, and this hire will play a key part in supporting that growth.

Uniquely, the business is also offering equity participation, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to share directly in the company’s long-term success.

The Opportunity

The Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the business across multiple operational areas. Responsibilities will vary but are likely to include:

  • Supporting insurance operations across underwriting, bordereaux, compliance and reporting
  • Assisting with delegated underwriting and Binding Authority processes
  • Working closely with finance on insurance-related financial and operational activity
  • Coordinating data, MI and documentation to support senior management and partners
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, including brokers and capacity providers
  • Contributing to process improvement as the business continues to scale

This is a role where no two days are the same, offering exposure well beyond a traditional assistant position.

About You

This role would particularly suit someone with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Insurance operations within an MGA, insurer or Lloyd’s environment
  • A finance-focused role within an insurance business
  • Delegated underwriting or Binding Authority support
  • Bordereaux processing, data management or operational reporting

You’ll be proactive, organised, comfortable working across multiple workstreams, and keen to be part of a growing business where your contribution is visible and valued.

Why This Role?

  • Join a business on a strong growth trajectory
  • Gain exposure across multiple areas of an MGA operation
  • Work closely with senior leadership
  • Opportunity for long-term progression
  • Equity participation available, aligning your success with the company’s future

If this sounds of interest, or if you’d like to discuss the role confidentially, please message me directly. Shares and referrals are always appreciated.
