Our Grimsby based client is seeking to recruit a full time and permanent Electrician to undertake works on their local tenanted properties ranging from 1 bedroom flats to a 6 bedroom detached property.The successful Electrician will be required to visit rental properties and undertake any necessary repairs required in a domestic environment, including partial rewires, 1st & 2nd fix installation work, consumer unit changes, wiring upgrades and any other minor works and repairs as required. Most of the properties visited will be tenanted but some may be unoccupied or for sale. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and your diary will be managed by the office. In addition you will be required to form part of the 2 week on call rota system for which you will be paid an additional £20 per hour. Week one out of hours call outs are Monday to Friday and week to out of hours call outs are Saturday and Sunday. You will also be provided with a sign written van to undertake your work duties although you will be required to provide your own basic tools to be able to complete the job. Preferred Qualifications: Electrician * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical Installation. * City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition of the IET wiring regulations BS7671. * 2391 Inspection & Testing would be extremely advantageous. * Experience of testing and carrying out periodic inspections. * Experience or knowledge of working in domestic properties. * Proactive approach to engaging with customers. * An understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace. * Full UK Driving Licence. Package: Electrician * £30,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience. * Additional £20 per hour for all out of hours call outs undertaken. * 28 days annual holiday including Bank Holidays with an additional day accrued per completed year of employment up to an additional 5 days. * Enrolment on a company health scheme. * Auto enrollment onto People's Pension with the offer of an Aviva Pension Scheme.
