The Head of Investor Relations – DACH, based in London, supports the firm’s Marketing and Investor Relations team in managing key relationships with limited partners, attracting new investors, and leading the marketing and fundraising strategy across German‑speaking Europe. The role oversees and executes regional coverage and engagement across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, ensuring institutional investor market awareness and interaction through direct representation and industry conferences. It is a Vice President/Principal position, accountable for marketing and capital‑raising activities, while driving strategic input at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, investment consultants, family offices and other stakeholders; serve as primary point of contact for investor inquiries and feedback. Respond to investor, analyst and media inquiries, ensuring compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations.
- Fundraising: Develop and execute IR strategies to attract and retain investors, aligning messaging with corporate goals. Coordinate quarterly earnings calls, annual reports and related press releases, presentations, Q&A sessions and senior‑management briefings. Identify potential capital sources and lead fundraising initiatives, preparing pitch decks, offering memoranda and other investment materials. Organise investor events such as conferences, roadshows, webcasts and shareholder meetings, and create client reports and marketing materials. Ensure all investor communications comply with internal reporting standards and regulatory protocols.
- Market Intelligence: Analyse financial results, industry trends and benchmarking data to provide insights to senior management. Plan and execute investor events, including conferences, roadshows, webcasts and shareholder meetings.
- Qualifications & Experience: MBA or advanced degree from a world‑leading university. Professional certification (CFA, CAIA, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial industry with a large global investment firm, placement agent or large investment bank in a private‑markets function. Proven track record of capital raising with institutional investors, preferably in private‑equity fundraising. Strong command of industry best practices, legal and regulatory compliance standards, and national laws. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills. Experience engaging with senior executives and demonstrating professionalism and credibility.

Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive, trusting relationships internally and externally. Strategic thinking, anticipation of investor needs and alignment with long‑term objectives.
