We work to provide the best possible service to the passengers of the WAV program. Safety and training play a huge role in the provision of safe, efficient and on-time quality service.
Compensation and Benefits
- Earn money from day one.
- We provide the vehicle, gas, maintenance, insurance, and mobile phone, with no cost to you.
- Starting at $19.00/hour + 100% of tips.
- Weekly pay.
- Full-time morning, evening, and overnight 8-hour shifts available (all shifts must include at least one weekend day).
- Part-time (Sat-Sun) evening and overnight 8-hour shifts available.
- Paid overtime.
- Eligible to participate in health insurance program.
- Paid time off.
- Paid training.
- Earn $200 referral bonus when people you recommend are hired.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation to wheelchair users.
- Safely drive and operate vehicle.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations.
- Be extremely customer-service oriented.
- Use mobile device for routing information to pick passengers up and drive to destination.
- Assist wheelchair users—some may weigh up to or exceed 400 pounds. Some wheelchairs may be manually operated.
Basic Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be at least 25 years old (for insurance purposes).
- Valid CA driver's license with at least 2 years US driving history.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Successfully pass pre-employment background and drug tests.
- Uber or Lyft ride-share driving experience is a plus.
- Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
