Deputy Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages
We are looking for an experienced Registrar to work in a developing and fast paced Registration Service, to deliver a professional and efficient service at key moments in people\βs lives. As a Deputy Registrar/Deputy Superintendent Registrar, you will register births, deaths, stillbirths, notices of marriage and register and conduct marriage and civil partnerships as well as citizenship ceremonies. You must enjoy meeting the public, public speaking, be enthusiastic and committed to delivering exceptional customer services.
You will need to be well organised with excellent ICT skills, possess integrity and sensitivity and be able to work on your own initiative but also be a team player. Accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality are key factors to this demanding frontline role.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on already strong registration skills. You will be expected to have proven skills as a Deputy Superintendent Registrar with a strong working knowledge in all aspects of civil registration.
