We are recruiting Sessional Ceremonies Officers to join the Tower Hamlets Register Office. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, committed to achieving positive outcomes, and bring direct experience of working in a busy Register Office, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
- Register Marriages and Civil Partnerships.
- Conduct statutory and non-statutory ceremonies in St Georges Town Hall and in licensed venues across the borough.
- Issue relevant paperwork according to legislative and local requirements.
Expected to work on a rota basis across weekends, with weekday working also an option.
About You
- Direct and Relevant Experience of working in a Register Office.
- Performing high-quality ceremonies with a strong couple-led focus.
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant Home Office legislation, supported by GRO handbooks.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
