About The Role
Are you passionate about using data, insight and analysis to improve outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Tower Hamlets is seeking a talented and motivated Transformation Business Analyst to support the delivery of our ambitious SEND Reform Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a more inclusive, sustainable and needs‑led SEND system by providing the analysis, evidence and insight needed to drive transformational change across education, health and social care.
Working as part of the SEND Transformation Team, you will analyse complex data, map and redesign processes, develop business cases, support service reviews and help design future operating models.
You will work closely with schools, health partners, families, commissioners and senior leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure decisions are informed by robust evidence and a clear understanding of need.
About you
We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, experience of business analysis and service redesign, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
You will be passionate about using data and insight to influence change and improve outcomes for children and families.
This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in one of the most significant transformation programmes in Tower Hamlets, helping to shape innovative approaches such as the Experts at Hand model and supporting the delivery of lasting improvements for children and young people with SEND.
- Key Requirements
- Experience applying business analysis techniques to support service redesign, transformation and improvement programmes.
- Strong analytical skills, including process mapping, operating model design, financial modelling and business case development.
- Experience gathering, interpreting and presenting complex information to support decision-making.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, facilitating workshops and building effective relationships.
- Experience identifying innovative and practical solutions that improve services and deliver value for money.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver work to agreed timescales, budgets and outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power Point and Visio.
