12 months Fixed Term/Secondment – Fixed term for external candidates and secondment for internal candidates.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and customer focused Resident Liaison Co-ordinator to join our Property Services Team to help deliver capital works projects. The post will be reporting to the Project Manager. There has never been a better time to join, the council has recently approved a historic £609 million investment package to improve council housing over the next decade. This investment is part of a dedicated housing improvement program aimed at ensuring council tenants have safe, secure, and energy efficient homes. This is an opportunity to help shape the borough, the community, and to help make a lasting impact.

At the heart of London’s east end, and a stone throw away from the city, we provide housing and housing services to 21,000 Londoners, with an even split between tenants and leaseholders.

You will need:

  • Two years’ experience in resident liaison roles dealing with refurbishment works in the public or private sector.
  • Experience in liaising with housing management and customer service teams.
  • Significant experience in dealing with members of the public in stressful and complex environments.
  • An ability to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong written communication skills and an ability to communicate matters in a structured way.
  • A wide range of knowledge of refurbishment processes.
  • Be passionate about delivering the best possible results for your residents.
