Tower Hamlets is an ambitious and diverse borough committed to inclusion, early intervention and partnership working. We are looking for an exceptional and motivated leader to manage our Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review (SENAR) Service. This key role leads statutory assessment and review functions, drives high‐quality case management, service improvement and strong partnership working across education, health and care.
- Lead statutory assessment and review functions of the SENAR Service.
- Drive high‐quality case management and service improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong partnership working across education, health and care sectors.
- Lead, mentor and support the SENAR team.
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and SEND best practice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Substantial experience of SEND services and a strong grasp of statutory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams with confidence, sound judgement and a clear commitment to improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.
- Excellent communication and partnership working skills across education, health and care.
- Demonstrated ability to drive service improvement and continue to develop and maintain a high‐performance team.
