About The Role
Shape reward, performance and transparency at scale. Tower Hamlets is recruiting a Head of Pay, Reward & Performance to lead the council’s pay, reward and performance approach. This role is central to building trust, ensuring fairness, and enabling evidence‑based decision making.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and implementation of the pay and reward strategy
- Oversee job evaluation and ensure consistency, transparency and integrity
- Lead the council’s approach to pay transparency and reporting
- Provide expert advice to senior leaders on reward, risk and labour market insight
- Build strong HR performance reporting and data‑driven decision making
- Ensure compliance with legislation and support financial sustainability

- Senior experience in pay, reward or workforce analytics
