About The Role
We are recruiting for an Early Identification and Intervention Worker to join the South East Locality on a fixed term contract/secondment basis for up to ten months.

In this role, you will:
- Actively contribute to the delivery of early identification and earlyhelp services for 0-19 (25 with SEND) as part of a borough wide earlyintervention team providing an enhanced offer for children 0-5;Working primarily in localities offer expertise and deliver servicesacross the borough as required
- Lead on the planning and delivery of universal and targetedintervention, such as Little Talkers and Invitation to Play, to increaseparental awareness and support children’s learning and developmentand wellbeing.
- Ensure that support and services offered are accessible andinclusive to children with special education needs or disabilities.
- At all times, promote and safeguard the welfare of children wholive or access services in Tower Hamlets Council and to act at alltimes in accordance with the Council's and Service's policies andprocedures
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate and have a:
- Level 3 qualification in education, social care,childcare or health services
- Sound working knowledge of the Early YearsFoundation Stage Guidance
- Knowledge and understanding of, and someability in assessment, planning, implementation ofservice provision and review for vulnerable familieswith complex needs. Ability to produce evidencebased quality assessments leading to targetedintervention plans
- Experience of working with families with complexneeds who typically find it difficult to engage withservices
