About the role: It is an exciting time to work in waste and the environment, as they are at the forefront of change. If you are looking for a role where you can make a difference, the Environmental Services are looking for a highly motivated individual to help shape and promote services, committed to reducing waste and increasing recycling.
What you’ll be doing:
- Have a key role in the roll-out of innovative initiatives and projects including borough-wide food waste to deliver improvements in local environment, service design, and service delivery.
- Provide project management and co-ordination across the service to help improve waste, recycling and operational efficiency.
- Support delivery of Tower Hamlets Waste Management Strategy 2018-2030.
- Gather, report, and analyse information and data relating to projects.
- Engage directly with key stakeholders and residents to influence positive changes in attitudes and participation.
- Stay ahead of legislation changes and industry trends.
