Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging sports coaching sessions to secondary‑aged students
  • Supporting PE lessons and extracurricular sports programmes
  • Encouraging participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
  • Helping students develop confidence, resilience, and leadership skills
  • Organising and supporting school fixtures, tournaments, and sporting events
  • Acting as a positive role model for young people across the school community

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience coaching sport with children or young people
  • Holds relevant coaching qualifications or has a strong sporting background
  • Is energetic, positive, and passionate about inspiring the next generation
  • Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
  • Is committed to promoting inclusion and participation in sport
