We are a passionate and kind management team that is committed to providing a quality service for our patients and supporting our staff to develop. We are primary and secondary care working together being collocated to the Emergency Department of the acute trust where we have close working relationships.
The post holder is an experienced clinician who, acting within their professional boundaries, will work flexibly and collaboratively with other members of the UTC team to provide care for the presenting patient, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment to evaluation of care within the urgent care setting.
The post holder will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills to manage patients out of hospital taking NHS 111 Direct booking calls to patients streamed to UTC. The post holder will understand complexity, demonstrate critical thinking, in the clinical decision-making process whilst supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, providing clinical leadership as required in line with the 4 pillars of advanced practice.
