Job Title: Assistant SEND Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) Officer
The Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) team is responsible for carrying out Education, Health & Care (EHC) needs assessments, issuing and maintaining EHC plans, and coordinating educational placements for young people with SEND.
The PfA team is committed to supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential. We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant SEND Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) Officer to support the EHC and SEN Transition processes. The role involves effectively handling queries from young people, schools, and Post-16 education and training providers. Experience liaising with children, young people, families, and professionals, along with knowledge of SEN PfA processes and legislation, is essential. The ability to work under tight deadlines is required. Experience with the Synergy education management software is desirable.
