Our Housing Options Service is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused individual to join our Statutory Advocacy Team. This role offers variety and involves building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring complaints are handled efficiently and with integrity. As a Housing Complaints Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer care. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Dealing with complex complaints, identifying and implementing suitable resolutions.
  2. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, guidance, practice, relevant legislation, and the Council’s and Ombudsman’s Complaints Handling Codes.
  3. Using excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide resolutions and responses to complaints, Members, and Mayoral Enquiries.

Please note that roles are available as fixed-term contracts for 12 months.
