Business Support Officer- Property Services/ Capital Delivery

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Property Services team, supporting the delivery of the Capital Programme within a thriving housing organisation.

As part of the Business Support Team, and reporting to the Business Support Team Manager, you will provide a high-quality administrative and business support service that underpins the effective running of Property Services, Asset Management, Compliance, and the Capital Delivery Programme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive administrative support, including diary management, meeting coordination, agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Maintaining and updating information systems, ensuring records and correspondence are accurate, accessible, and compliant with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating responses to resident queries, complaints, and Freedom of Information requests within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting procurement and financial processes, including raising purchase orders, processing payments, monitoring budgets, and producing financial reports using Agresso.
  • Managing the Property Services generic mailbox and ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Supporting internal and external communications, including correspondence with residents, contractors, councillors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the Emergency Call Out service, rota management, and associated record keeping.
  • Contributing to the smooth delivery of capital schemes by ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with governance procedures, and timely updates to relevant databases.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in providing business and administrative support in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the public sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality documents and reports.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of using Agresso (essential).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build positive relationships at all levels.
  • A flexible, solution-focused approach with the confidence to take initiative and contribute to continuous improvement.
