We are looking for a Volunteering Partnerships Manager.

Salary: £26,962 – £28,755 per annum

Location: Poplar HARCA Community Centres

Fixed Term: 12 months

Part Time: 21 Hours per week

Poplar HARCA prides itself on its firm base within the local community and in particular the opportunities that it provides for local people to develop their skills and grow personally and professionally. Volunteering, work placements and mentoring opportunities are set to expand extensively to include opportunities across all directorates within the organisation.

The Volunteering Partnerships Manager will build and maintain key strategic partnerships and work with external partners to provide volunteering opportunities to the local community. This involves co-ordinating volunteering services across Poplar HARCA and championing the ethos and value of volunteering to colleagues and partners, encouraging the creation of as many opportunities as possible.

The post-holder will focus on supporting managers/supervisors as well as volunteers/mentees to provide the best possible learning experience by following the policy, procedure and induction in place across the organisation and encouraging development opportunities.

The Volunteering Partnerships Manager will devise and integrate a comprehensive volunteering programme which engages and empowers residents and contributes to the delivery of our corporate objectives. Another key aspect of this is to document and measure the impact of volunteering.
