Cycle Sisters are looking for one or two Somali Community Ambassadors to help engage Somali women in Tower Hamlets and/or Waltham Forest and encourage them to take part in their cycling activities.

This role involves outreach, community engagement, and administrative support, helping women discover the benefits of cycling for their health, wellbeing, confidence, and community connections.

You don’t need to be an expert cyclist, but we would love to hear from someone who shares our passion for cycling and supporting women. We are looking for people who:

  1. Have strong connections within the Somali community in Tower Hamlets and/or Waltham Forest.
  2. Are confident communicators, comfortable speaking to groups and organisations.
  3. Are fluent in Somali to support women in their first steps into cycling.
  4. Have strong connections with local Somali networks in Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest.
  5. Have basic IT skills (training provided).
  6. Can be a positive advocate for cycling.
