As a Finance Assistant, you will support the effective operation of the organisation’s finance function, ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and providing administrative support across finance, health and safety, and related organisational activities.
What you’ll do:
- Support the day-to-day finance function, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking transactions and financial record keeping.
- Process supplier and customer invoices, assist with payment runs, reconciliations and credit control activities, ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Assist the Finance Director with finance administration, pension reconciliations, and the maintenance of health and safety records and policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records while providing support to colleagues and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
