We are seeking an organised, proactive and highly dependable Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the Director across two residential care homes and associated business projects. This is a varied and rewarding position working closely with the Director to support the smooth operation, development and ongoing improvement of services located in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and Bodmin, Cornwall. The role combines executive support, project coordination, business administration, quality and compliance support, and operational organisation. No two days will be the same. You will become a trusted support to the Director, helping manage priorities, coordinate projects, monitor actions, prepare information and ensure important tasks are progressed efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Director Support
    • Provide day-to-day support to the Director
    • Manage actions arising from meetings and business reviews
    • Coordinate priorities, deadlines and follow-up activities
    • Prepare reports, presentations and business documentation
    • Draft professional correspondence and communications
    • Assist with diary management and meeting organisation
  • Project & Business Coordination
    • Support business improvement projects
    • Coordinate implementation of new systems and processes
    • Monitor project progress and update the Director regularly
    • Liaise with managers and external stakeholders
    • Assist with service development initiatives
  • Operational & Compliance Support
    • Assist with quality assurance and compliance activities
    • Support preparation for audits and inspections
    • Monitor action plans and improvement programmes
    • Help maintain organisational records and trackers
    • Support policy and document management systems
  • Administration & Organisation
    • Maintain organised electronic filing systems
    • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
    • Track business performance information
    • Coordinate information requests from managers and departments
    • Assist with occupancy, admissions and marketing administration when required
