Water is the defining challenge of this century. It touches literally everything â food, energy, health, ecosystems, economic stability â and the gap between the scale of the problem and the quality of the tools available to solve it is enormous. Climate is destabilising supply while demand grows, and the systems used to manage trillions of dollars of water infrastructure still rely on outdated models and incomplete information.
Tova exists to close that gap. We have built a physicsâinformed AI platform â trained on how water actually moves through the physical world â that gives utilities and waterâdependent organisations decisionâgrade intelligence at a fraction of the time and cost of the status quo.
Tova's brand, voice, and story are being defined right now. We need someone exceptional to help define them.
The team around us spans hydroclimatology, AI, water resources engineering, product, and finance â many with years of shared context built across research groups at UMass Amherst, Cornell, and Columbia. The science team has led major climateârisk and adaptation projects for national governments, international development organisations, and utilities around the world.
This role involves building how Tova shows up in the world â from scratch. You would be working directly with the CEO and Founders' Associate to define and execute the foundational brand and communications work that a company at our stage needs to scale.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping to define and build Tova's positioning, messaging architecture, and tone of voice
- Building audience frameworks across stakeholders: utility operators, investors, enterprise decisionâmakers, and the engineers and scientists we want to recruit
- Owning LinkedIn execution â weekly publishing, performance tracking, and relentless iteration driven by data, A/B testing, and a commitment to what actually works rather than what feels right
- Creating core marketing collateral: oneâpagers, brand assets, blog templates, case study frameworks
- Helping to translate deep technical work into content that is clear, credible, and actually gets read
- Building brand systems and templates that scale with the company
The right person will have real scope to grow with us beyond the summer.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is internetânative and understands how ideas spread, what makes content resonate, and how to build an audience from zero
- Is AIânative and thinks in workflows, automation, and leverage
- Thinks strategically about brand â positioning, audience, message
- Is exceptional in their ability to communicate in writing
- Has strong visual instincts and cares about design quality
- Is selfâdirected and does not need a detailed brief to do good work
- Is deeply curious and dogmatic about improving every single day
- Cares about the work and holds themselves to a high bar
- Is all in on this mission and believes in the potential of AI to change how the world manages water
Details:
- Compensation: ÂŁ16.50/hr (~ÂŁ7,425 for 12 weeks)
- Duration: 10â12 weeks, JuneâSeptember 2026
- Commitment: Full-time
- Location: London office, in person
- Visa: Must have or be able to obtain UK work rights. No sponsorship.
