Key Responsibilities
- You will own the commercial performance, operational strength, and traveller experience of UK & Ireland tours across multiple TourAxis B2C brands.
- Own the product: Design, develop, and continuously improve UK & Ireland tour itineraries that deliver outstanding traveller experiences and hit profitability targets.
- Drive commercial performance: Manage cost structures, margins, and supplier agreements — and identify opportunities to grow revenue through compelling optional excursions.
- Source and secure the best: Lead supplier negotiations and DMC relationships across the UK & Ireland, locking in quality and value at every stage of the itinerary.
- Stay ahead of the market: Use customer feedback, competitor analysis, and destination trends to keep the product relevant, competitive, and fresh.
- Collaborate across the business: Work closely with Pricing, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure tours are correctly costed, clearly presented, and commercially optimised.
- Get out into the field: Join fam trips and select departures to experience the product firsthand, assess quality, and bring back insights that make it better.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in tour operations or travel product development, with hands-on experience across UK & Ireland destinations.
- Deep knowledge of the UK & Ireland touring landscape — key routes, regional highlights, and the nuances of operating across both markets.
- Established supplier relationships across the UK & Ireland, including hotels, coach operators, attractions, DMCs, and local guides.
- Proven commercial track record — experience managing costings, margins, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- Sharp analytical instincts — able to read performance data, spot trends, and translate insights into product decisions.
- Self-sufficient and solutions-first — someone who takes ownership, manages their own priorities, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
- Comfortable with occasional travel for fam trips and on-the-ground product research.
