Responsibilities
- Crafting engaging tour itineraries and packages
- Coordinating logistics and booking accommodations, transport, and activities
- Communicating with the Tour Leader during the tour to make adjustments as needed and resolve issues
- Double-checking, preparing final travel documents, and sending them to the client
- Owning tours and being accountable for their quality and financial results
- Renegotiating with suppliers to offer the customer the best product at the best price
- Ensuring the price and margin of our offer are competitive and profitable within the company’s pricing guidelines
- Monitoring payment conditions, and ensuring invoices are accurate and on time; report delays to the DM/supervisor or TL
- Ensuring that payment is on time
- Investigating and resolving service complaints efficiently
- Offering support or cover for other departments as required
- Conducting rate collection/negotiation activities as directed by the Manager/Supervisor
- Emergency phone duty
Qualifications
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written
- At least 1 year of experience as Operations coordinator or similar
- Travel industry market & culture understanding
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good computer skills and fluency with Microsoft Office package
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and a structured planner
- Good time-management skills and able to prioritise
- Being calm and assertive when handling client/supplier incidents
