Job Description
Our restaurant welcomes between
650 and 800 guests every day , serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, 365 days a year. It's a fast-paced, energetic environment where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing
As a Restaurant Team Leader, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our restaurant while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service at every meal.
- Lead, motivate and support a large waiting team, creating a positive and welcoming working environment.
- Be hands-on throughout service, leading by example and helping the team deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure our high service standards are consistently maintained, providing every guest with the 5-Star experience Potters Resorts is known for.
- Carry out restaurant and station checks with great attention to detail, ensuring everything is ready for service.
- Monitor service throughout each shift, responding quickly to changing priorities and supporting the team wherever needed.
- Resolve guest queries professionally and confidently, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
- Build strong working relationships across the resort, communicating effectively with colleagues in every department.
- Coach, encourage and develop the team, helping individuals grow in confidence and reach their full potential.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience in a supervisory, Team Leader or senior hospitality role (or be ready to take the next step in your career).
- The ability to remain calm, organised and positive in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example.
- Experience of coaching, developing or mentoring team members would be an advantage.
- A flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, as part of a 365-day operation.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality venue.
- Knowledge of food safety and health & safety practices.
- A Level 2 Food Safety certificate (or willingness to complete training).
