Fire and Security Installation Engineer in Wigan

Job Description We are looking for a Fire and security Engineer to join our team in our North West region. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years experience in fire alarms as well as knowledge of security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder) in accordance with industry standards and regulations as they will be responsible for maintenance and installing small works, of both. \n The Engineer will also be responsible for, providing technical advice on fire safety and security to the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to providing the highest level of service for our customers. The preferred candent will be able to work alone and as part of a team. \n Responsibilities: \n Undertake installation and commissioning of fire and security systems to British standards. \n Undertake maintenance, of fire and security systems to BS5839 and NSI Gold standards. \n To undertake a high level of fault finding on fire safety systems. \n Provide advice on fire safety regulations and standards to the sales team. \n Be part of a callout router. \n Job Type: Full-time \n Salary: £38,000 per year \n Benefits: \n Company car/van \n Company pension \n 25 days holiday + bank holidays \n Death in Service \n \n Schedule: \n Monday to Friday 8-hour days on site \n Overtime -x1.5 after 8 hours on site Monday to Friday & Saturday \n x2 From midday Saturday through Sunday. \n X2 After midnight Monday- Friday \n Travel time -Single time after 15 minutes of traveling to and from site \n Education: \n A-Level or equivalent (preferred) \n FIA certification \n Experience: \n Fire Alarms: 6+ years (required) \n Security Alarm 6+ years (required) \n Driving Licence (required) \n Maintenance of fire and security systems \n ECS Card \n IPAF \n Work Location: In person \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
