An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated individual to work within our B2B technology company. We are looking for a proactive individual with a genuine drive to progress within our ambitious B2B sales team. This role focuses on owning the post-sale customer journey, acting as the vital bridge between our wider field-based sales team and our customer portfolio. The role identifies cross-selling opportunities and manages contractual obligations for our multi-product base by building relationships with existing customers through regular account management. Location: On Site, Manchester, (M17)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per Week, Flexible Start and Finish Times with core hours of 8.00am to 4.30pm.
Core Responsibilities:
- Account Nurturing: Work jointly with the account manager and the finance team to set up new software and support contracts, as well as nurturing existing ones. Manage a contact schedule, managing and exceeding customer expectations by reducing customer pain points.
- Contractual Compliance: Monitor contract terms and renewal windows. Ensure all contractual obligations are scheduled and completed.
- Sales Efficiency & Order Processing: Utilise Navision and the company CRM system to manage the processing of incoming orders from existing accounts. Ensure clients receive a seamless response to administrative workflows.
- CRM Data Management: Use the company CRM to track and manage new leads, providing insights to the wider team. Data cleansing and ensuring that both account and prospect information is accurate, up-to-date, and actionable for both sales and marketing teams.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in B2B account management or a relationship-led role is preferable.
- Knowledge in CRMs and Navision for managing pipeline, data cleansing, and reporting on growth is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence.
