Role Overview
Touchlight is currently seeking a skilled & highly organised Laboratory Technician to support our CDMO lab.
Responsibilities
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the completion of essential tasks such as reagent preparation, equipment verification, facility cleaning, stock control and QMS actions. The Lab Technician reports to the dbDNA Team Lead. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Generation of reagents, within a Grade D manufacturing facility and R&D facility where required, for laboratory methods and processes for both GMP and research grade activities.
- Regular equipment calibration and verification checks.
- Maintaining laboratories to enable them to operate at their highest level of performance.
- Maintaining stocks and organising logistics.
- Identifying ongoing challenges and developing solutions to maintain an optimal work environment and ensure compliance with good H&S practices and company policies.
Qualifications
We'd like to hear from you, if you have a scientific background and/or proven experience working in a laboratory, ideally in a GMP or production setting.
Skills and Experience:
- Laboratory or relevant industry experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Science degree or relevant academic experience
- Experience in GMP
- Working knowledge of SAP (or other ERP)
