Role Overview:
Touchlight is currently seeking an experienced AP Admin to join our Finance team. This is an exciting, fast-paced environment suited to initiative-taking individuals who can contribute to and successfully work in a multidisciplinary team.
The AP Admin will handle both the purchase and sales ledgers , ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Responsibilities include handling multi-currency invoices and credit notes, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing payment runs via CHAPS and BACS . The role also involves resolving queries with internal stakeholders and suppliers, accounting for accruals and prepayments, and posting bank payments and receipts .
In addition to core ledger duties, the role requires reconciling credit card statements, processing and paying staff expense claims, and maintaining weekly accounts payable ledger reports . The position demands a proactive approach to managing the sales ledgers and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with various financial systems and stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Experience within Accounts Payable or similar role within Finance and/or at least 2 years of experience within Accounts Payable in a high volume setting
- At least 2 years of recent experience with SAP as ERP, within an Accounts Payable environment
- Ideally, experience with cloud-based SAP systems, such as SAP S/4Hana
- Advanced Excel skills , including the ability to create complex spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
