Touchdown Labs in Scotland is seeking an Etch, Clean & Surface Preparation Engineer to own the interface between material removal and surface preservation in semiconductor packaging. You will start from a defined layer stack, evaluate wet, dry, or mechanical routes, and set limits on selectivity, residue, and safety.
You will define process windows, coordinate with chemistry, tooling, metrology, and EHS, and ensure measurement plans align with downstream bonding or metallization requirements.
