Overview
This is a Band 4 Part-time Team Administrator role. The post sits within the Ealing CAMHS Children and Family Therapy (CFT) Team, a supportive, collaborative service based at Armstrong Way in Ealing CAMHS. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, self-motivated and have prior experience in administrative roles, ideally within a mental health setting or similar person-facing roles. The role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the team and contribute to maintaining effective administrative processes within agreed timescales.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of administrative support to the team, including sorting and dealing with correspondence, filing, photocopying, typing, archiving and referral tracking.
- Audio or copy type and proofread letters, memos, notes and reports, ensuring they are directed to appropriate departments, GPs or other organisations within agreed timescales.
- Draft and send responses to correspondence after appropriate approval.
- Maintain waiting lists, team patient lists and referral information as appropriate.
- Arrange meetings and assist with locally held training events or workshops (e.g., room bookings, hospitality, IT equipment).
- Assist in producing agendas, minutes and papers for meetings in a timely manner.
- Support the production of presentations using PowerPoint or other software when required.
- Take minutes at meetings, transcribe and distribute as required.
- Provide admin support for investigations (complaints, incidents, audits, surveys and projects) to meet specified timescales.

- Experience of administrative roles, ideally in a health or public sector setting.
- Strong organisation, reliability and self-motivation.
