The Paediatric Audiology Service provides a wide range of children's hearing services for the population of the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Ealing. The post holder will support the Paediatric Audiology Service, performing administrative tasks, hearing screening at school entry, and assisting Audiologists in clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the Paediatric Audiology Service.
- Perform administrative tasks and clerical support for the day-to-day running of audiology clinics.
- Conduct hearing screening at school entry and retest sessions for all schools.
- Use electronic patient database systems (e.g., Auditbase, SystmOne and S4H) for efficient administration.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with schools to ensure smooth operation of the hearing screening service.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills with a high level of data accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) at an enhanced level.
