Own financial governance and budget control across complex client programmes. Ensure revenue, margin, and delivery performance are transparently tracked, forecast accurately, and reported clearly to both internal leadership and client stakeholders.
Provide structured PMO capability as Toucanberry scales across multiple clients and client partners.
Recent hands-on experience:
- Building and maintaining financial forecasts for live client programmes
- Tracking revenue, margin, and burn against rate-card based SoWs
- Managing contractor allocation, capacity planning, and cost forecasting
- Supporting multi-squad or work stream delivery environments
- Producing client-ready financial reporting with clear narrative context
- Creating structured financial models in Excel / Google Sheets
Must Have:
- Demonstrated experience owning financial governance within a consultancy or professional services environment
- Proven ability to forecast and manage programme budgets end-to-end
- Strong commercial awareness - understands margin, revenue impact, and delivery risk
- Experience supporting programmes with multiple stakeholders and delivery teams
- Excel / Google Sheets modelling capability
- Ability to confidently present financial reporting to senior stakeholders
Bonus:
- Experience working in a consultancy or rate-card based billing model
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or equivalent BI tooling
- Exposure to tools such as Harvest, Forecast, Jira, or similar
- Experience implementing or improving governance frameworks
