Job Summary
The Fleet Manager is responsible for a portfolio of customers to whom Touax leases freight wagons
Its mission is to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of its entire portfolio
Its activity must be carried out according to the ECM rules in force (entity in charge of maintenance)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Description of significant activities:
Customer Relationships :
- Establish a relationship of trust with dedicated customers through regular communication about leased wagons, overhaul program, fixed asset monitoring
- Handle customer claims and requests
- Ensure the proper application of the terms and conditions of the commercial contract throughout the rental period of the wagon:
- Ensure the delivery of the Wagons (rental departure)
- Organization of preventive maintenance and repairs of wagons in conjunction with the customer
- Hold meetings with the client on a monthly basis
- Realization of monthly reports (performance indicators)
- Manage the return of wagons according to the established process and follow-up reports
- Issue re-invoicing of customer and/or third-party liability damages.
- Establish workshop instructions for the repair and maintenance of wagons
- Approve and challenge repair quotes
- Track each stopped wagon as a project and follow up weekly
- Identify the need for replacement parts and make requests to the logistics department
- Processing of exit documents (issuance of resumptions)
- Ensure proper maintenance recording and traceability.
- Opening of incident reports and alerting the technical service if necessary.
Responsibilities exercised and latitude of action :
- Apply TOUAX internal procedures
- Enforce the rules defined by the Touax ECM
- Ensure the proper receipt and completeness of maintenance follow-up documents
- Ensure compliance with the wagon overhaul program
- Monitor OPEX and identify budget overruns based on the customer
- Fleet availability tracking
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- A Levels / Degree +2/+3 training (mechanics, transport and logistics)
- Organized, precise and meticulous
- Fleet management
- Relational skills with customers, workshops and internal departments
- Teamwork
- Operational English
