Totum Partners are working with a well-regarded law firm to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier on a 12-month fixed-term contract. What you'll be doing: Posting client and office receipts Processing client and office payments via CHAPS, cheque and file uploads Handling client-to-office transfers Completing daily bank reconciliations Ensuring deposit interest is paid on matters when due Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring documentation is correctly filed Liaising with colleagues across UK offices, responding to queries and supporting fee earners Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and internal procedures Working with multi-currency transactions Meeting key deadlines and adhering to agreed timetables What we're looking for: Experience in a Legal Cashier role is essential Strong understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules Experience processing client and office account transactions Ability to work accurately in a busy environment with competing deadlines Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Equal Opportunities: As a responsible business, it is important that we represent the diversity of our people, our clients and our communities.
