Totum Partners is delighted to be working with a prestigious law firm to recruit a Legal Cashier Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and respected finance operations team in a key leadership role. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive process improvements, and support the wider finance operations strategy.

The ideal Cashier Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure ongoing compliance with SRA Accounts Rules, manage internal audits, and lead monthly breach review meetings.
  • Financial Controls: Oversee adherence to financial controls, policies, and daily exception reporting.
  • SRA Audit & Coordination: Lead coordinator for SRA audits, liaising with internal teams and external accountants.
  • Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement, engaging with the wider business to streamline finance processes and enhance user experience.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise team members, manage workflows, and ensure effective training and development.
  • Project Management: Support finance-related projects, managing internal and external stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.

The ideal Cashier Supervisor will have:

  • Legal finance experience, with strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules, AML, and VAT compliance.
  • Proven experience in legal finance procedures, controls, and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively.
