The ideal candidate will come from a legal, accountancy or Top 4 consultancy background. Experience working on Environmental, Sustainability and Governance projects is essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand the inflight and upcoming changes in project business requirements.
  • Plan and design ‘outcome focused’ projects, monitoring progress against agreed parameters, identifying key risks, resolving issues and initiating timely corrective action.
  • Define the project's governance framework.
  • Resolve risks and issues.
  • Ensure project integrity and coherence.
  • Monitor project budget, monitoring expenditure etc.
  • Help appoint additional staff into the project and underlying workstreams/activities.
  • Liaise with design authority, architecture teams, other IT teams, risk, dependent projects and product teams, suppliers.
  • Ensure outputs meet requirements within time, quality, cost constraints (and timely escalation of risks if not).

  • Strong stakeholder management and hands-on delivery of projects through full project life cycle.
  • Proven experience of taking vague project details and shaping them into an exact project plan.
  • Good PMO function experience.
  • Initiative, the ability to work alone and in cases work as a lone wolf on shaping projects and innovative ideas.

Skills Required

  • Extensive experience of change delivery approaches (e.g. Waterfall, Agile).
  • Experience of HR, ESG (Environmental, Sustainability & Governance) or Social Impact projects.
  • Experience of working in an accountancy firm or within audit teams is a bonus.

This role offers hybrid working - 2 days in the office weekly.
