Our client, a leading professional services firm, is recruiting for a Power BI Developer to support their digital transformation and growing focus on data driven decision making. This newly created role sits within the Technology department and will be instrumental in delivering reporting and analytics on firm performance, industry trends, and competitor insights.
The Role: You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing Power BI reporting solutions that translate business needs into clear, actionable dashboards. You’ll optimise existing reports, develop new ones, and guide stakeholders on using Power BI to support both operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
- Design and deliver insightful Power BI dashboards and reports
- Report on financials, market performance, and internal KPIs
- Build reusable datasets and semantic models
- Manage and optimise the firm’s Power BI environment
- Collaborate with Finance, BD, HR and other teams
- Support self-service reporting and embed a data-driven culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Advanced Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query, dashboards)
- Strong data modelling and semantic layer design skills
- Ability to work with data from Excel, SQL, APIs
- Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
