Totum is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Billing Assistant on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Raise bills and ensure approvals are in place
- Issue bills within 48 hours and monitor billing inbox queries
- Ensure all recorded time is captured and billing aligns with client agreements
- Liaise with lawyers, PAs, and other finance teams to resolve billing issues
- Maintain client/matter financial records and ensure compliance with SAR and VAT regulations
- Provide support for write-offs, reporting, and cover colleagues as needed
Requirements:
- Prior legal billing experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
