Totum Partners are working with a leading law firm to recruit a fully remote Legal Billing Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a busy billing team, working closely with partners and lawyers to ensure accurate and timely billing. Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred.
The ideal Legal Billing Assistant will be responsible for:
- Managing billing for assigned clients or teams
- Liaising with partners and fee earners
- Updating and checking billing data
- Resolving billing queries promptly
- Raising credit notes and reversals
- Processing high volumes of invoices
- Preparing Excel bill schedules and supporting documents
- Ensuring compliance with client billing protocols and VAT rules
- Keeping matter data up-to-date
- Handling sensitive data in line with firm policies
The ideal Legal Billing Assistant will have:
- Experience in legal or professional services billing
