Totum is working with a leading City law firm to recruit a Billing Coordinator. This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office, 3 from home), offering the chance to work closely with Partners and fee earners across multiple practice areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing for and attending monthly WIP meetings
- Raising Bills and finalising proformas in the billing system
- Processing billing tasks, including credit notes and write-offs
- Managing the billing inbox and responding to queries promptly
- Handling WIP and disbursement transfers
- Maintaining the billing meeting schedule
- Supporting the annual rate review process and implementing rate changes
- Managing client/matter closures and re-openings
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous legal billing experience
- Experience using the Practice Management System
- Confidence working with Partners and fee earners
