Job Overview: Cripps is seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on Cripps' business development strategy and contribute to the firm's success. As the Business Development Manager you will work directly with senior stakeholders across the firm to develop and deliver the BD strategy in line with firm-wide objectives. You will be an integral part of the BD&M team, proactively contributing, championing, and instilling BD best practices within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with Head of Business Development, corporate division head, team leaders, and relevant BD&M team members to develop and implement the BD growth plan. Provide insights and ideas to identify new opportunities and ensure the strategy is delivered effectively.
- Targeting & Prospecting: Develop and manage business development campaigns, target key audiences, and track progress through BD meetings and pipeline management.
- Client Relationship Management: Research and maintain knowledge of key corporate clients, targets, and referrers. Identify key accounts to retain and grow.
- Profile Raising: Prepare drafts for legal directories and award submissions, and produce relevant content for marketing materials and campaigns.
- Management of Information, Projects, and Budgets: Manage the division's marketing budget, and support firm-wide marketing and BD initiatives as needed.
Person Specification:
Experience: You will need to be operating at Manager and above in Business Development working in professional services firms.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work alongside senior people in the firm, project management, research and analysis, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
