- The Applied AI Engineer designs, builds and productionises AI-enabled solutions for legal and business services delivery.
- Design, build and maintain AI-enabled applications, automations and internal tools using Python, cloud services and enterprise platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business problems, assess use cases and translate requirements into practical technical designs.
- Build integrations between internal systems, enterprise platforms, external applications and AI services.
- Design and implement multi-step AI workflows, including tool-using, agentic and platform-native automations where appropriate.
Skills Required
- Solid engineering experience utilising Python, across applications, integrations, automations or internal tools.
- Experience building or implementing AI/ML or LLM-enabled solutions in production or near-production settings.
- Experience working with APIs, SDKs, cloud services and enterprise platforms.
- Practical understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, LLM workflows or agentic patterns.
- Ability to interview stakeholders and translate ambiguous use cases into prototypes/technical designs.
- Experience with testing, debugging, documentation, Git and maintaining reliable systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
This role offers hybrid working - 1 day onsite weekly max.
